Delhi University Medical/Dental Entrance Test - DUMET

Delhi University Medical/Dental Entrence Test (DUMET) is an examination procedure to select medical aspirants for taking admission in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) courses ran by various medical institutes in the national capital city. The Delhi University via dumet entrance exam 2013, allowed admission for various medical courses in the city colleges and educational institute.

Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC), Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) offered MBBS degree while for BDS course; one can choose Maulana Azad Medical College. The medical colleges of Delhi are governmet affiliated educational institute and granted accreditation by medical council of India while dental college with dental council of India. Lady Hardinge Medical College allowed admission only to merit female candidate depending on the ranks and grade secured in DUMET.

The Faculty of Medical Sciences has given responsibility to perform dumet exam 2013, like they are doing it from last many years. The Faculty of Medical Sciences is assigned by duties to appoint different types of committees for revising syllabus, consider or suggest any recommendations for improving or modifying educational learning program to Academic Council.

DUMET Entrance Exam Date 2013

The medical aspirants, who are residents of Delhi, attend 17 years of age and passed 12 class examinations from any authorized board council with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English can appear in the dumet 2013 entrance test. After qualifying in the examination, he or she will be allowed to take admission in various medical courses for pursuing MBBS and BDS. MBBS course award skills and knowledge on anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, forensic medicine, community medicine, general medicine, child health surgery, and other various subjects by following guidelines of the Medical Council of India. The dumet exam date 2013 is on May 22 and it will allow admission in around 370 MMBS and BDS seats. 15 percent of total seats are selected directly by the Directorate General of Health Services.
